Start of Brevet Season now 5/2/2009

Saturday, April 25th, 2009

Hi Alaska Randonneurs,

Due to the persistence of the ash on the roads, and the related health concerns to lungs and eyes, the start of the brevet season will now be 5/2/09.

Sorry for the delay and any inconvenience this causes, but doing long rides with a bunch of ash dust on the roads isn’t smart.

For details please see the blogsite: http://alaskarandonneurs.blogspot.com

Let’s hope Redoubt cools it for awhile, at least until we get through the 400K.
